BEFORE YOU START
Before you click on one of the “Types of Listing” links below, here’s a few important pointers. Please read before continuing.
➤ Our directory is for tourism, leisure and lifestyle businesses Norfolk, or our neighbouring counties of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
➤ Please ensure you are able to receive emails from our email address admin@norfolkplaces.co.uk. Add it to your contacts or/and safe senders list so that important communications such as your renewal reminder are received. This is important as we don’t chase missed renewals.
➤ There are two type of listing package; Recurring PayPal Subscription listings and Manual Renewal listings.
➤ RECURRING PAYPAL SUBSCRIPTION LISTINGS will renew automatically every year for the period specified in the package, unless cancelled by either party. You may cancel the subscription via your PayPal account at any time. If you cancel, this will stop the next renewal being collected. When a specified subscription period is completed you will be invited to renew based on the packages/rates applicable at that time. Please note it is your responsibility to ensure your payment method on PayPal is kept up to date to ensure your recurring subscription listing can renew.
➤ MANUAL RENEWAL LISTINGS are for 1 year, requiring manual renewal by the listing owner – An automated expiry notification email reminder is sent 10 days prior to your listing expiry date. If you wish to renew your listing please do so before the renewal date.
➤ Listings will not appear on the NorfolkPlaces website until payment has been received.
➤ This is a self-service platform. You are responsible for creation, payment, updating and renewal of your listing.
➤ Your use of this service constitutes your acceptance of our terms and conditions

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DON’T RENEW?
Please note, if listings are not renewed by the renewal date, rather than removing your listing completely, we will downgrade it to a very Basic Listing. If a listing is downgraded some details may be removed once a non-renewed listing passes its renewal date.
You can upgrade your listing from a Basic listing to a Platinum, Standard (Silver), or Bronze listing at any time, however, you will only have access to a Basic listings for 3 years. At this point you will get a final expiry notification. Expired Basic Listings are transferred to NorfolkPlaces to review, and either removed or retained by us. If this happens you will need to reclaim your listing or start a submit a new listing.

For example, if your business is a brewery (local Producer) but also has a shop and a tasting tour (Place) you could add a listing under each type of listing – Take advantage of our discounts and you’ll be pleasantly surprised how affordable it is. You can also link your listings together!

If your business fits in to one of our listing types above, then you should hopefully find a relevant sub-category when creating your listing.
If you can’t find the right category, please do get in touch.
Whilst we have deliberately not added everything under the sun (for example, we’re not going to add trades like plumbers as there are trade specific sites for that purpose) we will consider adding more categories if they fit with our scope (which is tourism, leisure and lifestyle).
CHARITIES
We provide free listings for registered charities. This may be either Places To Visit ran by a charity, or inclusion in Charitable Organisations on our community section.

Events are added to our What’s On section, and you can choose either a Basic (free) event listing, or a Premium event listing.
