Raveningham Gardens
Place Categories: Cafe and Tearooms Gardens Heritage Leisure Activities Things to See & Do
Situated just 10miles South of Norwich and home of Sir Nicholas & Lady Susan Bacon, Raveningham Gardens, like many other great gardens, began with the work of one person – the current owner’s late mother Priscilla Bacon.
Since then much love and imagination has gone in to creating the ever changing, living garden. A place of peace and quietness, where one can reflect on how a modern garden can evolve yet still maintain traditions.
The Gardens are a mix of the formal and informal, from specialist snowdrops in February to agapanthus in summer, or enjoy season long the Victorian working walled kitchen garden and the modern Stumpery, rose gardens, colourful herb beds and modern garden sculptures. Visit 10 acres of garden in a glorious parkland setting, complete with tea room offering home made produce and refreshments. Pre booked Group Tours also available.
