Here’s Part 6 of our photographic look-back at some of our favourite photos.
If you’ve not read it already then you should also check out part 5 for more great photos.
Unfortunately due to a very busy festive period we were a week behind schedule with this post, so, erm, sorry. It’s a shame because the aim was to feature all-festive photos of snow, decorated trees, twinkly lights etc. Okay, so, the first image above is not exactly festive, but we didn’t want to over-do the festivities. So, what is this picture? Well, it was taken on the shingle beach at Cley at the starting point of a walk to Blakeney Point.
Anyway, the rest of the pictures are all a twinkly. We’ll kick off with a Christmas tree, and this reminds us of a fun festive jaunt on a Santa Cruise, taken way in 2011. go on a boat along the Norfolk Broads and see Santa too? Yeah!
Decorations change from year to year at shopping malls. This one, captured outside Chapelfield in 2018, is one of our favourite Christmas pictures because of the reflection on the wet paving.
The next is a bit more recent. It’s from a recent visit to Blickling Hall, where we visited the house and gardens to see the magical light display.
The final to images were taken at Thursford. The first is from Santa’s Magical Journey. We’ve been a few times on this indoor experience and the kids have loved it.
The final image taken at Thursford at Christmas, below, was taken at the entrance to Thursford, prior to watching their Christmas Spectacular Show. That’s a lot of lightbulbs!
We hope you enjoyed these and are looking forward to our next set, which we’ll post in a couple of weeks time. In the meantime explore the NorfolkPlaces website where you can find plenty more photos of places to visit in Norfolk. If you want to see even more photos then check out our Facebook and Instagram accounts so please follow us there. Don’t know where to start?
