Bat Walks in Holkham Park
Event Categories: Family and Kids Nature, Wildlife and Gardens Walks and Hikes
Holkham Park is home to a whole host of species. One which is rarely seen by our visitors is our thriving bat community. Take a walk as the sun begins to fade, with our expert ecologist, Phil Parker. Explore the historic woodland surrounding Holkham lake and spot these fascinating creatures in flight, with the help of bat frequency detectors. Keep an eye (and ear) out for species such as Noctule, Common Pipistrelle and Daubenton’s.
