Ever since the CovId-19 pandemic emerged earlier this year and the likelihood of lockdown grew, it was evident that the world of business would not be the same again.
In the East of England, traditionally an agriculture heartland, over 75% of the work force work in the service industry, which makes this sector very important to the operation of the economy. This tertiary sector of industry covers a vast array of different services; Offices, Shops, Restaurants, Accommodation, Attractions and so much more. Whilst a reasonable chunk of office-based workers can do most of their workday tasks at home, that’s not much comfort for those who can’t.
