Residents and friends of a Norfolk care home raised £275 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) at an afternoon tea party.
The event was held in the sensory garden at New Dawn, in Horsford, which chooses to support a different charity each year.
New Dawn has 19 ground floor bedrooms and a sensory room, among other features, to support adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, communication and sensory impairments and complex health needs.
Some recently presented a cheque to EACH Norfolk Community Fundraiser Cheri Playne.
Cheri said: “We’re always delighted when groups in the community pull together to support our cause. It was lovely to meet this one at New Dawn and I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone involved for their efforts.”
EACH cares for 364 children and young people with life-threatening conditions across East Anglia and supports their families, providing a lifeline at an unimaginably difficult time.
